Saja published in International Symposium on Multi-Hazard Early Warning and Disaster Risk Reduction
Two research paper abstracts co-authored by Saja were published in the International Symposium on Multi-Hazard Early Warning and Disaster Risk Reduction, to promote the availability and application of research, science and technology to support implementation of Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030
The symposium was originally planned to be held on 16th to 18th March 2020 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Due to Covid-19 global pandemic, it had to be postponed and considering the prevailing Covid-19 situation, the organisers have decided to hold the symposium, online. It was held on 14th to 16th December 2020 – as Online symposium
This symposum is a joint collaboration between Ministry of Defence, Disaster Management Centre, Sri Lanka, and Global Disaster Resilience Centre, University of Huddersfield, UK with several other partner universities, partner UN agencies, JICA, ADPC and other partner agencies
